The online Texas drivers education course offered by TexasDriverEducation.us consists of thirty two hours of classroom-style learning from a home computer (either online or via CD-rom), broken down into ten sections. The course also includes seven hours of behind-the-wheel driver instruction and four hours of alcohol and drug abuse training. Students of the course can apply for their Texas learner's permit after completing the first six hours of the online driver education course. After the successful completion of the entire course, the student can take their certificate of completion to their local DPS office to take the final driving exam.
