Education is the Best Medicine

Education is the Best Medicine is a non-profit organization that was started by George Y. Pearson. His goal as founder and host is to create an active dialog for addressing health and social disparities of our community, even and perhaps especially the most disenfranchised. We aim to facilitate discussions that relate to economical, social and health issues, through community access television, newspaper, magazine articles and community forums.

Access to evidence based research to improve the quality of life and provide proactive solutions to the basic concerns of food, clothing, shelter, education and economics in our community.

George Y. Pearson invites you to view our community oriented television series where a host of diverse guest will discuss the medical, social, political and business issues and how they affect our community. We strive to show case the local heroes whose interaction in the community laid the ground work for the "rubber to meet the road." You also will find articles, many of which were published in the MEENA newspaper and other community based newspapers..
