Snow Queen Elegance

When Kalervo and Nina Karlsson met Micki Olin they got inspired to design a line of Haute Couture specifically for Finnish Snow Queens. They were inspired by the Finnish transparency and feel of Finnish skin, which often is as transparent as ice and as fragile and as light as snow.

In Finland mythology has stories that liken snowflakes to be like bees and which follow their Queen which is called "Snow Queen". The Snow Queen lives in the ice and snow palace and teaches children about the importance of true love.

In Hans Christian Anderson's fairytale there is a famous quote:

"The secret of unique power to save a friend is in a sweet and innocent heart."
