Vlado Franjevic invites us to visit Vaduz
Today Vlado lives in Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. He takes us on a tour of his chosen home town. Through his artist's eyes we see Vaduz as cozy and quaint.
Liechtenstein has a lot of tourist attractions.
Liechtenstein has many faces. At times, it is an Alpine monarchy with the bustle of a festival on the night of nights, at times an island of experiences in an untouched mountain landscape, awakening hidden feelings. In the Principality of Liechtenstein, at the foot of the Three Sisters massif, life is still manageable and authentic. Everything is here, in miniature: mountainous nature, lively culture, neat little villages, modern architecture, vineyards, and 27 kilometers of Rhine. Nobody knows why: Even Napoleon left the little country in peace. What began over 300 years ago with the Princes of Liechtenstein has become a modern small state with a high quality of life.
During the International Master Courses, stars of classical music and jazz set the air on fire.
On the Rhine, sun-worshipers enjoy moments of calm on the sand banks, while cyclists and inline skaters fill up on energy in the wind.
In the street cafés of Vaduz, Liechtenstein’s capital “city” without a train station, people stroll through the streets and drink espresso – also to see and be seen.
