Flo Simon is born in Nurnberg, Germany. His education and academic studies took place in a few different places throughout Germany. He studied privately with Otto Muehl and Karl Halt.

He studied the techniques and styles of many of the masters throughout history. He has perfected his techniques and is at the height of his skill. He never lost his sense of humor - notice the three muses? They are holding cell phones.

Surreal landscapes and waterscapes are also some of his favorite themes.

He now works on creating experiential settings that leave you in a state of deep relaxation and make you dream of a creative and magic world.

Flo Simon has been working extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 15 years. He resides currently in Oakland California, where most of his work is to be found.

Through the course of his life he lived in Austria, Sicily and New York. Flo's artistic pallet stretches from surrealism, trompe l'oeil, fantastic and photorealism to renaissance art.

All his murals and faux-finishes are exclusive designs, customized to the personality and individual location of every client.
