You probably already know me, my name is Eddie L. Lankford Jr. For many years I have been producing local TV shows for the Public Access Channel in Alameda County, covering Oakland’s and the Bay Area’s finest.  It has been my privilege and pleasure to serve this creative, multi-national and multi-cultural community.  In order to make some of our favorite shows available to you anytime you wish to see them, we have decided to start streaming them for you.

We will bring you local news and entertainment that pertains to you and in which you are interested in. Since we are on the internet, we will not be surprised to find people from all of California, the US, and the world watching us as well.  Welcome to beautiful Oakland! Welcome to the neighborhood. For the past few years we have come together as a community to put the neighbor back in the Hood. Our shows will reflect that.

We live in a great and wonderful neighborhood with wonderful and  talented people.  We live in an engaged neighborhood, which is full of fun, warmth, and community spirit.  Our shows on Eddycam will continue to bring you highlights from the Oakland and Alameda neighborhood.  We are kick-starting the channels with some of my favorites.  “Black Music in America”  a show that brings stories about our rich musical heritage to you. It is hosted by Lloyd Gregory.   “Jazz with Frankye”  a long-time favorite hosted by internationally renown Jazz Diva, Frankye Kelly, "Pass the Mic", local hip hop artists presented by TR33, the UC Berkeley Jazz Ensembles Fundraising concert of November 12, 2007 and we are in the process of producing several more show series. As they say, stay tuned...

With Eddie Lankford Productions it is my goal to continue our work as a community production studio and operator. We will continue to invite you to join us to: "Let's put the neighbor back in the hood."™ Our programs show that it is already happening. Check out Greg Bridges with his "Berkeley International Food Festival" and one of his favorite bands: "Legally Blynd, featuring Jubu."
