Elementary, middle or high school educators, parents, teachers or administrators from both public and private schools and social service providers are encouraged to attend this symposium. This symposium titled, Educating African-Americans forthe 21st Century – “A Call to Action”will provide cutting edge information that will add value to the delivery of K-12 education to African-American students. 

Implementation of this collection of experiential knowledge, new academic class-room studies, and progressive educational principles will ensure that seminar participants become important members of today’s forward-thinking, first-class educators who are committed to ensuring that the future is bright for all of our children.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Chris Harrison, co-founder and COO of Inward Journeys Consulting (along with co-founder NNeka Harrison, Ed.D. (ABD), CEO) and lead organizer of this symposium.
