Education is the Best Medicine Founder
George Y. Pearson holds a degree from Stanford as a certified licensed Physicians Assistant. He has practiced medicine for 25 years. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior from USF.
He conceived Education is the Best Medicine to share much of the advice he repeatedly gives to his patients in the hopes that you can avoid becoming a patient.
He realized that often a little knowledge and understanding can truly improve the health and lives of his patients and often others in their entire families.
This is what motivated him to start Education is the Best Medicine.

George Y. Pearson has an avid interest in how organizational behavior can positively impact health care. He lectures and teaches around the country on how community hospitals and veterans' hospitals can run more effectively. George Y. Pearson sees preventable medical conditions every day in his medical practice.
Physicians Assistants provide mid-level primary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and medical treatment which includes writing prescriptions for common ailments, ever since AB3 passed in Calfornia on January 2008. This law expanded the scope of practice for Physicians Assistants as mid-level practioners. Physicians Assistants are required to recertify every six years in order to maintain their national certification.
