Berkeley Food Festival 2007 hosted by Greg Bridges,
produced by Eddie Lankford Jr.
TRAVEL THE WORLD WITHOUT LEAVING THE BAY AREA
Take a culinary trip to explore and savor the aromas and tastes of worldwide cuisine without getting on an airplane or experiencing jet lag. Delight in the foods of India, Spain, Pakistan, Thailand, Jamaica, Hawaii, Mexico and Central America. The second annual Berkeley International Food Festival showcases West Berkeley's International Market District restaurants, specialty food markets and unique shops, and will feature related cultural activities.
For sheer diversity and intensity of flavor, the West Berkeley neighborhood around the intersection of University and San Pablo Avenues can't be topped. This small area offers restaurants, markets, and clothing boutiques from over a dozen countries.
West Berkeley Neighborhood Development Corporation, in conjunction with the City of Berkeley, hosted the second annual Berkeley International Food Festival to celebrate community, diversity, and of course, food. With different entertainment locations, it was a big party that welcomed people to the neighborhood and give them a sampling of what they had to offer.
Festival stages will feature cultural presentations, music, DJs and dance from around the globe. Enjoy the shows!
